RONIT NOVAK

As a visuals director in the media industry, I’ve spent my career shaping narratives for Canada’s leading editorial publications.

Today, I offer personalized consultations for photographers, directors, and visual storytellers across platforms, at every stage of their career.

Together, we will clarify your vision, refine your portfolio, and develop a relevant, resilient creative process that’s uniquely your own.

WHAT WE EXPLORE

1

Portfolio Development

Editing, sequencing, and categorizing a cohesive body of work that tells the story of who you are, and what you explore.

2

Creative Direction

Clarifying themes, connect with your creative voice, set long-term projects, and identify ideas consistent in your work.

Explore new media and platforms to tell your story consistently and effectively.

3

Professional Positioning

Website direction, audience, editorial and commercial opportunities, and presenting your work, your values, and technological guardrails clearly and confidently.

HOW WE WORK TOGETHER

Before we meet, you’ll complete a short questionnaire about your creative practice, influences, goals, current challenges, and the questions you’d like to explore. This helps me understand your work and make the most of our time together.

1

Questionnaire

We begin with a discussion about your creative and career goals, who influences you, what topics or styles excite you, and where do you go for inspiration.

2

Conversation

Together, we review your portfolio, identifying strengths, recurring themes, opportunities for development, and the work that feels most distinctly your own.

3

Portfolio Review

We discuss how your work is presented, what format best suits it, who your audience or potential clients are, and how it’s positioned within a changing media landscape.

4

Positioning

You’ll leave with practical next steps, clear priorities, and a stronger sense of where to focus your creative energy moving forward.
